Thanks to Everyone Who Supported Food For All’s Annual Holiday Campaign

Food For All’s largest fundraiser of the year, our holiday season point-of-purchase program, wrapped up in most stores across the country on January 3, 2010.  We at Food For All want to express our gratitude to the thousands of grocery retailers across the country that partnered with us to run this program, and to the generous customers that chose to give back to their communities.  Shoppers supported the holiday season Food For All program simply by picking up a $1, $3, or $5 donation coupon at the register, handing it to the cashier, and having it scanned.  Donations appeared on the customer’s receipt and are tax-deductible.

Best of all, proceeds from these programs support community-based, non-profit agencies of the retailer’s choice, and a small portion is designated to Food For All’s programs (meaning 100% of the donations support non-profit agencies).

The program ran from Nov.1, 2009-January 3, 2010 in stores across the country.  Over $3.1 million was raised last year during the Food For All holiday campaign.

The following retailers are extending their Food For All holiday fundraiser until the dates posted:

  • Gelson’s-January 10, 2010
  • ACME Markets-January 31, 2010
  • Albertson’s LLC-Janaury 31, 2010
